If you are getting an SSL_Connect error when running up2date or rhn_register:
[root@roam /tmp]# up2date
Error communicating with server. The message was:
SSL_connect error
It could be that your hardware clock and system clock are out of sync so you can try synchronizing them:
[root@roam /tmp]# /usr/sbin/hwclock --systohc
However, you are probably getting the SSL_Connect error because the Red Hat Network SSL certificate expired on August 28, 2003. To update your certificate, follow one of the Red Hat SSL Certificate installation methods.
