Sports Played Mr. Thornton played lacrosse and tennis in high school and briefly in college. Tennis In high school, his varsity tennis team finished 3rd in the State of Texas Division 5A Tournament.He also helped coach tennis under Bill Bos who, in 1994, was inducted into the the Texas Sports Hall of Fame. Mr. Thornton still plays when he finds the time.
