Internet Marketing and Lead GenerationJames Thornton has more than 14 years experience in helping businesses profit online. He is the principal of Electric Speed, an Internet consulting firm located in Dallas, TX that specializes in Internet marketing and lead generation for real-estate agents and mortgage brokers. In 2003, James cofounded the Colorado Federal Savings Bank (Cofedbank) Internet division, where he served as the Director of Development through January 2008. Cofedbank is a nationwide mortgage lender, and the Internet division originates loans in all 50 states. He developed the national Internet marketing strategy for the corporate online division and the bank's 30-plus branches, led the website development, and helped manage the sales team. Now he is consulting other mortgage brokers and real-estate agents on how to generate high-quality Internet leads, and most imporantly, showing them how to convert a higher percentage of leads into closed deals. He graduated from Baylor University with a BBA in Management Information Systems and then remained there for one year of post-baccalaureate studies in Computer Science.
